Hope Harbor Transitional Shelter Overview

Located at 610 W Division (north side of the building), Hope Harbor’s Transitional Shelter provides a safe, long-term housing solution for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. It serves single women, married couples (both heterosexual and homosexual), single-parent families, and two-parent families, regardless of gender.

Program Details

  • Case Manager assigned to each resident.

  • Capacity: 78 beds in 28 rooms.

  • Maximum stay: up to 9 months.

  • Mental Health Matters therapy services available.

  • Referrals to local agencies and resources.

  • 40-hour weekly commitment to personal development activities, including:

    • Financial responsibility, parenting, and job skill classes.

    • Meetings with Case Managers to set goals and track progress.

    • Reducing debt and improving savings.

    • Community service involvement.

    • Assisting with meal preparation and site maintenance.

    • Employment search support.

  • Non-participation in program activities may result in loss of services.
